Travel back in time to explore a bit of Fresno’s history beginning in 1872.  Learn about the buildings that anchored the downtown street grid, how the grid was established, and who was responsible for it.  Visit four structures that were important parts of Fresno’s history between 1918 and 1932.  See how they are related to the route taken by travelers making their way through the downtown streets in the days before bypasses on the Golden State Highway (“99”).
