The Danes!

The November short story is what comes from sitting in the summer shade sharing casual conversations about family histories. My curiosity was piqued by the tale of five Danish men from Fresno going to San Francisco to get Danish brides. The story became more intriguing when it crossed three generations and linked a homeowner of the 1920s with a current Wilson Island resident. Who says oral histories aren’t fun!!
